Grazing shed!

IMG_1083.JPG

Last week after having given up bread I was craving that moment where I thought yes this is the bread amazement I’ve been missing. So when my boyfriend said lets go to the grazing shed I jumped at the chance and was there as quick as a flash. This was my first time here but he had already had his loyalty card well on its way.

As we stepped in, it was reasonably quiet we had a good choice on where to sit although all the seats were pretty much the same. The seating was a selection of long benches, as it was quiet we could have a whole run to ourselves. If it was busier maybe a bit close for comfort while eating so I was slightly glad it was not jam packed. Was a bit confused on where the menus were, but soon realized when looking closer that it was at the front on above the counter. My boyfriend pretty much knew what he was having so had gone ahead and ordered. He had chosen the giant haystack burger but changed it slightly to his specifications. He’s not a great lover of cheese, so got rid of that and instead had some barbeque sauce pilled on the two mounds of beef burger. When his food came out the burger was gigantic and was wondering how it was possible to get through such a big burger.

Once he had come back I went ahead and took a closer look at the menu, to say I was spoilt for choice was an understatement. I’m a pretty indecisive person so first barrier was beef, chicken or a veggie burger. I finally settled on the beefy goodness of the El Toro burger but changed it slightly by wimping out on the hot chilies. The rest of the yummy burger consisted of honey glazed goats cheese, Chorizo, ketchup, mayo and lettuce. When I took my first bite the food burger was finally the taste explosion id been waiting for, my bread amazement had finally come. The multi seed bun, the combination of cheese and meat was what I’d been missing for my bread ecstasy to come back.

We had both opted to turn our burger into a meal for just £3 extra; this gave us a side of fries and a bottomless drink. The drinks were not your standard beverages with there being, root beer, ginger beer , an orange fizzy drink, lemonade , an elder flower drink as well as cola. I first went for the basic lemonade a usual favorite of mine, but soon got told how amazing the elder flower drink was. The elder flower drink was beautifully refreshing and not too overly sweet, the best out of the range they had.

After looking down at my bowl and having been defeated having to leave a few fires I was absolutely stuffed but very satisfied. Only as I sat there to full to move, I then noticed that the walls were made completely out of doors. A few dozen rustic doors with all the detailing on which was really effective. Overall this is one of my new favorite burger places to visit and I will be sure to return and make my way through the menu.
