Just down the road from McArthur Glen is the Red Dragon pub a little brains pub in Bridgend. After shopping it was great to stop off and grab a bite. If on a budget they do have two meals for a tenner.
Me and mum opted for a burger and chips, with my dad getting fish and chips. I'd swapped my burger for sweet potato fries and choose not to have the coleslaw. The fish and chips come with, mushy peas and my dad upgraded and had a side of scampi. It's just the right amount of food that you have a little space for pudding.
For dessert, they have several options, from ice cream to hot puddings. I had the sticky toffee pudding and my dad had the crumble of the day. These can come with ice cream, cream or custard. Mum opted for peanut butter toffee popcorn sundae.
All the food was reasonably priced and staff are friendly would visit again if I was in the area.
