Glengarth house B&B -Wells

Firstly what can I say, bargain of a bed and breakfast. With 3 of us staying one night with breakfast being a total of £105 for the night or £35 each if you split it. Located in the perfect location on Glastonbury road, with it being only a 15 minute walk from Wells city centre.

When we arrived we called the number on the door to get the code for the house. We then let our selves in and went to our rooms to drop our stuff off. We also were fine to leave the car on the drive which meant it saved us from paying for parking.

The room its self-had 3 single beds with a separate shower and toilet within the room. I would say this would normally be a room for children as it came with cuddly toys, DVDs and some books. There was also a kettle with tea and coffee, as well as some toiletries.

The beds were very comfy with a cute flora theme throughout. The shower was a bit low on the power, so as long as your not washing your hair then it's all good. The curtains serve a slight purpose so lucky I'm an early riser, those who want a lie in taking an eye mask.

Breakfast was a friendly welcome by Sherri and then asked if we would like a tea or a coffee. On the table was an orange juice each and a mass selection of spreads. For breakfast, there was fruit, cereal, yoghurt, croissants, toast and a choice of eggs to your liking.

Beforehand we had tried to contact the BnB about one person being vegan. The numbers we found didn't seem to work so to be on the safe side went and brought our own soy milk. We knew they had the basics, but soy milk we didn't take the chance. There is a Lidl and Tesco nearby if you do need food supplies.

Overall it is quite a quaint little BnB with the basic utilities you need. Free wifi, some breakfast and a bed for the night. If you have dietary requirements I suggest you call way in advance to see if they cater.
