Bright Bricks Lego cats

The week just gone by, Bright bricks created an excellent display with lego for all to see. After seeing the first lot of animals earlier in the year I had to go see the lego cats. Down in mermaid quay for one week only was a spectacle of a display.

With several animals being represented they was something for everyone. Little baby lion cubs, a panther and even a fully grown tiger. All these made entirely from a favourite to all, Lego.

As you can see the detail above was outstanding and the portions were very accurate. The different colours within the bricks just to represent the texture in fur, as well as the pattern. The skills that people have to build these is absolutely tremendous.

Some animals were placed in action poses and the scenery set. Great examples were a gazel being pounced upon and baby tigers at fighting. When looking into some of the cat's eyes the way the light reflected made it somewhat lifelike as well.

All of the displays had placards explaining how many bricks and time had gone into them as well. We had arrived early to get the best look but some fencing was in the way. By the time we had gotten back, it was haussle bustle and harder to get a closer look. All of these were free to see and it's a shame if you didn't get a chance to look. Don't worry though coming to the bay in December is Santa in lego. Not only Santa but all his reindeer friends too.
