Bracciano the best cannoli I've ever had!

This was one food I needed to tick off my list when visiting Italy. Cannoli has a great combination of crispy but also the creamy filling inside. When just an hour outside of Rome in Bracciano I saw them behind the glass cabinet. I then knew this was a now or never moment to get my cannoli.

So in the coffee shop, the Gran Coffee Principle De Napoli they had tonnes of cakes and biscuits. When it came to ordering I thought yeh I can do this wow them with my Italian. As I asked for a tea and a cannoli I thought I'd nailed it. Paid at the till and they said they will bring it over to my table. To my surprise, two cannoli were brought over, my Italian was not as good as I thought.

When it came to tasting them was like where do I start. I started at the end and the crunch of chocolate and pistachios was a taste explosion in my mouth. As I got to the middle the creamy filling was so nice, smooth and sweet. One friend suggested that the reason the lady brought 2 over as she knew I would need another one. I literally had enjoyed them so much, costing €10 euros for two and a cuppa what a bargain. I would highly recommend a visit if, in the area, they are the best cannoli I've had to date.
