So this one is going to be short and sweet. Original plan was go to Brewdog and have wing Wednesday. I had booked in advance and we had a lovely booth table when we got there. Staff were very helpful and let us know what we needed.
Once we looked at the menu we soon discovered that the wings were unlimited. But the type of wing they had was one buffalo chicken wing, or cauliflower wings. On the advert no where did we see that there was just one type of wing. Wing Wednesday we thought it would be go big or go home. At least 3 flavours of wings were our expectations
As we were there we thought we would get something else instead. We opted for the fries in the end. I had the the truffle cheese fries(£7.95) and my boyfriend opted for the Korean loaded fries(£8.45. My chips were more garlic than truffle oil flavour. There could of also been a bit more parmasan to make them more cheesy. The Korean chicken was very nicely cooked and seasoned. So maybe a chicken wing in this flavour would be the answer.
With drinks it was mostly beer on offer. They did have one cider, the bar man advised my boyfriend that it was a sweet cider. In the end I ended up drinking it as it was very dry for a cider. They also support independents, their soft drinks are from an independent. Unforutnelty the lemonade I had ,I was not a fan. It came with lemon grass which was very over powering.
Generally it was a medicoure visit for us. We went for chicken wings and came out with just a few chips. If at any point the do have more than one flavour of wing we will be sure to return.
