As soon as this place opened I had wanted to visit. The fact they had a pool table and fooseball really appealed to me. Only having been open for about a month it's still early stages. When we first arrived at 4.05pm it seemed to be closed. We had checked the times before hand as well. There were 2 other people also waiting and they also thought it was 4pm for opening . But by 4.10pm the doors were open. This is then a walk down stairs , I did not see any obvious disabled access though.
So we entered in past the bright illuminating sign and into the main bar. As you walk in there is jazzy carpet, leather seats and a few more neon lights. The music playing is 90s hip hop, the odd song I knew. We sat down and browsed through the drinks menu.
The menu consists of 7 cocktails costing £9 each. But between 4-7pm Wednesday to Sunday they are only a fiver! Me and my friend both opted for cherry bakewell. A beautifully blend of fruity liquors.
As you can see above the cocktails are beautifully dressed. There is no mixer so be warned they are strong. The nice added touch of a maraschino cherry really added as well.
While we sipped at our drinks it was time to play fooseball. Costing 50p a game this a great bargain for a few rounds. My friend had never played before so we had some great fun for not much money. If you don't have change, they are happy to change a note at the bar for you as well.
I had researched in advance and found out that west pizza was also served here. Pizza by the slice(£2.50) is so good when you just want a snack. As we found the pizza is not served till 5pm mind so do wait . We went safe with a margarita pizza slice each. There may have been other flavours but we did not ask nor did we see a sign. The pizza was beautifully cheesy and had an amazing dough.
Only spending about an hour there in total my experience of which was great. I am sure I be will be returning in the future to try another cocktail and see what other pizza flavour are on offer.
